Our SSG President, Ms. Diane Dale Santillan, together with our SSG Adviser, Sir Noel Calicdan and with our very active and supportive Principal, Ma'am Romelita Tumaneng, became one of the attendees to the "Engagement Cum Conversation with Sec. Leonor Briones." This historical event took place at Tanghalang Rizal at Rizal National High School, Pasig City.
November 2021
In celebration of the English month this November 2021, the JVPSHS-SSG, guided by our beloved English coordinator, Dr. Luzbella Cabrera, conducted a Poster Making contest and to make the English Week more fun and exciting, the SSG Officers made a frame which the students used for a week.
JVPSHS-SSG supports Economic and Financial Literacy Week! (November 8 – 12, 2021)
The observance of the EFL week is mandated by Republic Act No. 10922, also known as the Economic and Financial Literacy Act, and is aimed towards developing a national consciousness on economic and financial literacy.
In line with this, the SSG invited everyone to submit and share their entries (infographics/posters with caption) about consciousness-raising and knowledge-expanding information on economic and financial literacy such as tips on money management.
If each one, including students, is financially literate, we can contribute greatly to our country’s economy.
A big applause to our SSG President, Ms. Diane Dale Santillan for being one of the Senior High School Representatives in the SSG DIVISION FERERATION for the School Year 2021-2022.
Congratulations to Ms. Arleen Cardinoza for completing the program of Quezon City Center for Excellence (CENTREX) in Research and Leadership Batch 22! We're so proud of you!
The new Official Logo of Jose V. Palma Senior High School - Supreme Student Government of 2021-2022.
Created by Arleen Cardinoza (SSG Vice President) and John Lloyd Luzong (SSG Protocol Officer)
We believe that the logo represents the identity and recognition of the organization that is why this year, JVPSHS-SSG finally presents to you their powerful logo which will be used in any official events and school purposes only.
A shield colored with gold, and a hand holding a Scales of Justice at the center. These symbols emphasizes that the leaders of the school must hold a fair and balance between truth and fairness. The two hands holding together symbolizes teamwork, and the eagle symbolizes courage. Thus, the green color of the outer shield represents the color of Jose V. Palma Senior High School, and red background signifies the brave and strong bond of the organization. As a final point, the torch represents enlightenment. These symbols are used to represent the mission of Jose V. Palma Senior High School – Supreme Student Government (JVPSHS – SSG) which is to produce leaders who will prioritize truth and fairness with courage and a team that works together in fulfilling their duties and responsibilities.
